About Neal Brown

Twenty years of leading, developing and scaling schools.

Most recently, Neal spent thirteen years at a multi-site multilingual organisation, serving ten as School Director, during which it grew to four campuses spanning early years to secondary. Earlier in his career he held teaching and management positions at another Swiss international school, across three of its locations during their early growth.

Neal also taught and led curriculum innovation projects in England for several years before moving to Switzerland. He has taught all primary grade levels in full-time positions in Swiss bilingual and international schools, and has experience of substituting at secondary and Swiss Gymnasium level. He also led marking teams for a national English examination board, work that shaped how he thinks about assessment.

He is also a parent who has navigated bilingual, Swiss public and Gymnasium routes with his own children. His work draws on direct operational experience rather than theoretical frameworks. Engagements are paid by fee, with no commission or referral arrangements.

AI in schools: why governance now matters more than policy
